ANNOTATIONS
I went around Manchester city centre to take street photography of places with lit up, coloured signs or where the lights were more prominent. I made sure to increase the ISO on the camera and used a wide aperture to see the words on the neon signs, if I hadn't changed the camera settings, the signs wouldn't be readable through the camera lens.
I studied Liam Wong's images and liked the cinematic feel he included with his photos so I was inspired to attempt that with my photos. The biggest impact to make it feel was the way I edited my photographs. I used Adobe Photoshop and whatever colour was most prominent with the lights I used the levelling tool to make the whole photo more cinematic. For example, in this picture to the bottom right, the lights were all red so I increased the redness of the entire photo.
